This custom project features the upcoming Adidas x Brain Dead bowling shoes, which have been upgraded with custom swirly Vibram soles. Originally designed with ultra-slick leather soles tailored for bowling lanes, the stock soles offered limited traction for everyday wear. To address this, I’ve replaced them with Vibram soles, offering improved grip, comfort, and versatility, while still preserving the unique aesthetic of the original design. This modification transforms the shoes from performance-specific footwear into a stylish, street-ready option, perfect for daily use.

This pair features the Air Penny 2 x Stüssy in Black as its base, transformed through a deep chocolate brown dye that brings a rich, earthy tone to the silhouette. The finish feels warm and grounded, with the natural variation in the dye adding depth and individuality to each pair.

Hand-dyed chocolate cord laces from @allabove.store complete the look, adding subtle texture and tying the design together with understated character.

This pair features a one-of-a-kind Air Max 95 custom, crafted with care, detail, and a focus on natural materials. The project began with a soft cream dye, setting a warm, neutral foundation. A delicate gradient treatment was then applied, creating a subtle fade effect across the tongue and air bubble for added depth and visual flow. The top two quarter panels were meticulously replaced with premium, locally sourced cowhide, showcasing a unique blend of white and brown tones that make each pair truly individual. Slim cord laces from @allabove.store complete the look, adding a refined and minimalist touch to this elevated reinterpretation of a classic silhouette.

This pair features a design inspired by texture and tone, where a tulle blouse was carefully deconstructed and repurposed. Its delicate fabric was cut and sewn into both the upper and middle panels of the shoe, adding a soft, ethereal contrast to the structured silhouette. The entire shoe has been meticulously hand-dyed in a deep black and anthracite blend, creating a sleek and cohesive base. 

The lining takes on subtle depth with a gradient of anthracite and dark blue, while the lower tongue introduces an unexpected hint of dark green—adding nuance without disrupting the dark aesthetic. Black-dyed lace loops and matching black laces complete the look, tying together the moody, textured design with understated elegance.

This custom design on the Air Max 95 is probably my favorite 95’ concept to date. The client requested a simple yet standout look, and I aimed to deliver just that. To achieve this, I incorporated a black pleated trim along both the lateral and medial sides, which underwent a stonewashed treatment for a distinct distressed finish. The edges of the shoe were dyed in a contrasting gray, adding depth and contrast to the design. To complete the look, the lace tips were dipped in a stone gray color, seamlessly tying the whole aesthetic together with subtle sophistication.

after our custom workshop experience in march 2025, we followed up with a global seeding of the hand-dyed adizero evo sl's. since then, i’ve been receiving an overwhelming number of messages & requests—so i decided to create something special for the community.

This pair features a stunning brown-red-pink gradient dye that seamlessly flows across the entire upper and midsole, creating a dynamic and captivating effect. The toebox area showcases a heat-reactive material that transitions from anthracite to fiery orange, symbolizing the intense energy and transformation of a solar eclipse. The design perfectly captures the celestial phenomenon, blending rich colors and innovative materials for a truly unique look.

This pair features the Salomon ACS + OG Vanilla Ice, reimagined with a bold and tactile patchwork approach. The upper is crafted from a variety of secondhand fabrics, each carefully selected and dyed in a rich combination of royal purple and hyacinth hues. The fabric was then distressed and sun-faded, giving it a timeworn, vintage feel.

The entire upper was further dyed in a soft lavender tone, with each piece meticulously stitched together to form a patchwork design that balances color, texture, and structure. The midsole was treated with a muted grey dye, grounding the design with a subtle contrast.

To add a touch of deconstruction, the toe tabs and netting on the tongue were removed, while the cage and back tab were left untreated, showcasing the raw, unfinished texture for a striking visual contrast. The look is completed with a white quicklace system from Salomon, tying the entire design together with both form and function.

for this project, i gave the new balance 992 a full transformation. the original midsole & outsole were completely removed and replaced with a handcrafted brown leather welt, paired with a light midsole to preserve the natural drop & finished with a flat vibram sole. the entire mudguard suede was hand-dyed in a rich brown tone. to complete the look, i added a double lacing system inspired by the miu miu x new balance collab — creating a balanced and cohesive reinterpretation of the classic silhouette.

This custom pair features a grayish-blue leather dye applied across the upper, creating a tonal base accented with varying shades of blue on each mesh and leather panel, bringing depth and individuality to every section. To further elevate the design, 3D-printed New Balance logos with a unique microphone texture were integrated, symbolizing the microphone as a tool of expression within culture.

As a final touch, detailed 3D-printed typography elements reading “OH!” and “991” were added to the heel inserts, offering a playful yet meaningful nod to identity and model heritage.

This custom piece is a celebration of sneaker culture’s diversity—merging traditional craftsmanship with futuristic techniques. Inspired by the cultural insight and storytelling of @ohschuhenpodcast, the design reflects the intersection of past, present, and what’s next.

This pair started with the NB 990 V3 Made in USA (grey) as the base. The entire upper was dyed to create a unique beige/olive color. Fleece fabric was added to the mesh panels, while the small panels on the toebox were dyed a lighter grey for contrast. The midsole was given a vintage grey touch, and the outsole received a used look for added character. The design is completed with vintage laces from @allabove.store, adding the perfect finishing detail.

This pair features the New Balance 860 V2 ML860XB, reimagined with a striking, futuristic aesthetic. The entire mesh upper has been dyed in deep black and treated with a metallic silver overlay, giving the shoe a sleek, reflective quality that catches the light with every movement.

The quarter panels and tongue logos were also dyed in a vintage black, subtly contrasting with the metallic sheen while maintaining a cohesive, aged look. The sole is a standout feature, colored in a smooth gradient that transitions from dark grey to blue. Three distinct shades were carefully blended together, creating a dynamic effect that feels both modern and organic.

To add a refined finishing touch, all the leather edges were painted in a rich blue, providing a crisp contrast to the darker tones and elevating the overall design.

This pair features a custom reinterpretation of the New Balance 1906R in Black, introducing a refined balance between subtle alterations and vintage character. The upper has been lightened to create contrast and enhance the silhouette, while dark greyish-purple dye accents add depth and unique tonal variation throughout. The midsole has been dyed black and features a specially treated dust film finish on both the midsole and heel cage, giving the pair a distinctly aged aesthetic. 

Tongue logos have been intentionally removed for a cleaner look, and the quarter logos are subtly scuffed to evoke a worn-in, vintage feel. The design is completed with black vintage-style laces from @allabove.store, perfectly tying together the understated yet expressive look of this pair.

This pair features a custom design on the New Balance 1000, a silhouette with bold lines and plenty of potential for experimentation. Raw cotton was incorporated into various side panels, adding texture and depth to the design. The entire shoe, including the cotton inserts, was treated with a blue-to-mint-green gradient dye, allowing the raw cotton to absorb the color exceptionally well. This resulted in a richly saturated, almost painterly finish across the upper. To balance the vibrant tones, the pair was finished with clean white laces, creating a crisp contrast that ties the look together.
