This custom pair features a blend of technical design and deep-rooted tradition, built on an @on shoe. The TPU panels across the quarter and heel areas have been reimagined with a custom patchwork layout, crafted from a selection of Japanese fabrics hand-dyed using traditional techniques. The upper is detailed with a boro-inspired stitch pattern, incorporating authentic indigo-dyed threads to honor the heritage of Japanese textile craftsmanship. To complete the look, the pair is finished with cord laces from @allabove.store.
Named “Shiboro,” this shoe seamlessly fuses elements of both boro and shibori dyeing methods.
