The entire upper has been reconstructed using a grainy two-layer fabric. The top layer, precision-cut in a star pattern, has been meticulously laminated onto the underlying fabric—both layers seamlessly bonded and reinforced with detailed stitching. The shoe has been hand-dyed in a deep, dark tone, enhancing its bold, retro aesthetic.
A subtle dust finish has been applied to the sole and toe cap, adding a weathered, timeworn character. Rooted in a monochrome black-and-white palette, the project emphasizes texture and finish, evoking the raw spirit and iconic heritage of early basketball footwear.
